This role is with Citi. WayUp is partnering with Citi to hire top talent.

You're the brains behind our work.

You're ready to bring your knowledge from the classroom to the boardroom, and Citi wants to help you get there. Whether it's honing your skills or building your network, we know that success can't come without growth. Our programs equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career here. At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when.

Citi's Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM) Technology organization is looking for full-time Analysts to join the team in Jacksonville, FL. Our PBWM Technology teams diligently work behind the scenes to help deliver best-in-class service for our customers. And as client expectations continue to evolve rapidly, our unique model is well-positioned to evolve with them. We deliver software that has a variety of end users: mobile apps and websites that help our customers manage their money; desktop software that allows our customer service agents to provide support and advice; and internal databases, microservices, and tools that Citi teams rely upon every day.

The PBWM Technology Analyst Program is a full-time, two-year program that puts technology careers on the fast track by providing challenging assignments, access to senior leadership, and the ability to take charge of your development through two 12-month rotations (see below for list of roles). Upon completion of the Program, top-performing Analysts are eligible for promotion.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

We're committed to teaching you the ropes, and this program will equip you with the knowledge and training you need to make an impact right away. The two-year Analyst Program starts in the summer and begins with a robust training program. This role is a rotational program that is intended to help you build a broad skillset and accelerate your career growth by gaining exposure to more than one area of the PBWM Technology organization, as well as help you discover the best fit for your skills and long-term career goals at Citi. Our commitment to building your skills doesn't end there. Analysts are eligible to participate in Citi's mentorship program, which will provide further training and guidance throughout the Program. Upon completion of the Program, top-performing Analysts are eligible for promotion to Assistant Vice President.

Your time here will look something like this...

The PBWM Technology Analyst Program includes a wide variety of roles focused on project leadership and delivery. While technical knowledge is preferred, it is not required for these positions. You will make an impact with your communication, analytical and organizational skills, and you would likely not spend time writing code. Analyst roles can vary in scope and scale - managing the delivery of one specific project, tracking closure of risk/governance items across dozens of teams, or assessing financial impacts that range from thousands to millions of dollars. Success in these roles requires being proactive, having excellent written and verbal communication skills, and solving problems amid a variety of people and process constraints.

Analysts may be placed on a myriad of teams such as:

  • Project management
  • Product management
  • Business analysis
  • Software architecture
  • Process re-engineering
  • Risk management
  • UI/UX Design
  • Business management/Chief of Staff

Please note PBWM Technology Analysts are not placed in software development roles.

We want to hear from you if...

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Preferred disciplines include: Information Systems, Information Technology and other similar business/technology majors. Computer Science majors are also accepted, but typically prioritized for engineering roles/programs
  • Your graduation date is between December 2023-May 2024
  • You have a GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred)
  • You have an interest working in a high-tech global technology environment
  • You will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Who we think will be a great fit...

Extensive work experience is not a requirement, but dedication to learning and a true passion for the business are vital. As industries all over the globe continue to restructure and grow, we are hiring professionals who have a global perspective on the future of banking and want to make an impact on the corporate level. We value diversity and so do you. We'll also be looking for the following:

  • Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments
  • Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape (a plus but not required)
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making
  • Collaborators who are quick to seek the help of colleagues and recognize the value of teamwork, support, and mutual assistance
  • Enthusiastic leaders
  • Innovators who can think creatively and beyond the limits of a position or process
  • A client-focused mindset with a goal of providing continuous improvement.
