About the role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer focusing on enabling our engineering squads, you’ll be tackling meaningful problems and helping ship intuitive and impactful products for our clinicians. What you build will improve Engineers’ day-to-day functions and will support them in building scalable, secure and reliable services. Partnering with Product, Design and our Clinical teams, you will play a key role in defining architecture and implementing a seamless technology-enabled mental healthcare system.
Core Areas of Responsibility
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Architect and implement highly available, automated cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Champion infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, driving automation and repeatability.
- Develops and maintains infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates, scripts, and automation tools to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources.
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes
- Manage, optimize and maintain CloudSQL Postgres Database
- Monitoring and optimizing cloud costs, implementing cost-saving strategies, and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Automate Kubernetes infrastructure and configuration management using Argo CD
- Manage, maintain and optimize ArgoCD instances
- Develop and refine deployment strategies for containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and serve as escalation points for critical issues.Collaborate with engineering, security, and data teams to deliver end-to-end DevOps solutions.

- Build an understanding and form of an opinion of our current CICD pipeline and how to improve:
- Build time
- Deployment Time
- Cycle Time
- Build reliable test environments for developers to test features
- Evaluate and implement a secret manager to manage API keys, secrets
Where you’ll make an impact in the first year:
- Scale, optimize our Kubernetes infrastructure
- Integrate AI into developers’ workflow to improve developers experience and efficiency.
- Contribute to Infrastructure and containers common vulnerabilities.
- Mature our observability and alerting
- Build Service platform to enable developers to build new services.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated success in working across organizational boundaries to drive complex tech initiatives
- Solid design and problem solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering
- Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with engineering, security, data, IT and product teams.
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code using Terraform
- Experience with logging and monitoring using Grafana & Prometheus, OTel, Google Cloud monitoring or equivalent solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong hands-on experience with ArgoCD
- Demonstrated experience setting up build pipeline using GitLab
Compensation & Benefits
The offer range is dependent on qualifications and experience. New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $180,000 - $190,000. The full salary range for this full-time, exempt role is $180,000 - $249,000.
