About the role
As the Senior Copywriter, you will be a key member of a small but quickly growing marketing organization. Working with and guiding our creative team, you’ll be producing creative outputs that represent Two Chairs and will be responsible for crafting communications that engage people, inspire them, and motivate them.
You’ll capture the essence of Two Chairs and express it to the world in our outward-facing materials including advertising, social media, email copy, landing pages, and a variety of other marketing materials.
You'll be responsible for working with our design team and freelancers and be the person who pitches new campaign concepts and ideas to our marketing leadership, and then executes the campaigns with sharp, motivating creative.
Core Areas of Responsibility
Develop high-impact, commercially-focused copy for various marketing materials, including website content, product descriptions, ad campaigns, and more. [85%]
- Serve as the creative lead in crafting captivating narratives that resonate with our target audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all touchpoints.
- Develop words and creative outputs that inspire action, whether it's prospective clients, clinicians, health plans, or health systems.
- Position our services effectively to a variety of audiences with a primary focus on clients, while also considering clinicians, health plans, and health systems.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to write various types of content as needed in a startup environment.
Understand and evolve the brand voice to maintain brand consistency [10%]
- Ensure all work aligns with our brand identity and values.
Understand our visual brand and assist designers in maintaining brand consistency and distinctiveness across creative outputs [5%]
- Develop a perspective and provide input on design elements that accompany copy outputs.

Impact and Success Indicators
Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:
- Become an expert in Two Chairs’ brand voice, value propositions, and target audiences, as well as our project management tools and processes
- Collaborate with fellow Marketing team members to develop copy for new and existing marketing campaigns and materials
- Begin to own copy and creative strategy for new campaigns
Where you’ll make an impact in the first year:
- Develop net-new high-impact, commercially-focused copy for various marketing materials targeting multiple audiences, with a primary focus on clients (patients)
- Serve as the creative lead for marketing campaigns, evolving positioning for our services as needed
- Ensure our brand voice, tone and visuals are achieving their desired impact
You’ll be successful if you have:
- Proven experience in creative copywriting, ideally dealing with companies that have both B2B and B2C audiences.
- An exceptional portfolio highlighting your ability to craft imaginative, commercially-focused creative concepts.
- An in-depth understanding of brand voice and messaging to resonate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to excel in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.
- Passion for making an impact with an organization that is delivering life-changing care.
- Experience working in a variety of media, especially digital assets.
- An innate ability to recognize good design, copy and overall communications.
- A proactive “intrapreneurial” mindset and passion for designing procedures.
- An aptitude for organization and ability to keep track of many projects at once.
- Familiarity and comfort using digital project management tools i.e.: Asana
- Some copywriting experience at a top advertising agency is a plus
