About the role:
As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you’ll work with the VP of Finance and other leaders at the organization to build our finance capabilities and help drive critical strategic and operational business decisions. As a leader on the finance team, you’ll help build the team’s capabilities and outcomes in a wide scope of areas, including revenue and margin modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering with our clinical, business development, people, and numerous other teams. You’ll help establish and improve upon Two Chairs’ financial foundation while helping plan and manage the company’s next phase of growth.

Where you’ll make an impact:

  • Own the company’s budgeting, headcount planning, P&L, margin, and cash flow management
  • Manage our internal forecast model and improve our visibility into key drivers of revenue, margin, cash burn, and other key metrics
  • Lead and level-up ongoing financial reporting efforts, developing and articulating insights to leadership, the company’s board, investors, and other stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct analysis and help drive critical business decisions, including but not limited to new partnerships, build vs. buy decisions, staffing models, and supply/demand management
  • Collaborate with other areas of the finance org such as accounting, business operations, revenue cycle management, and financial operations to build a holistic planning and reporting capability
  • Play a lead role in our bi-annual planning process, owning all financial deliverables and supporting long-term planning as a strategic partner
  • Manage Senior Financial Analyst and provide mentoring and coaching to other members of the finance team

You’ll be successful if you have:

  • Extensive experience in an analytical role, preferably with experience in banking, FP&A, or another finance-related field
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong grasp of financial statements and concepts, and the capability to identify and synthesize insights from data
  • Ability to structure and solve complex problems with a high degree of autonomy
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and planning, and an ability to understand and communicate variances to that forecast to executives
  • Pragmatism and comfort driving to outcomes or decisions in situations with substantial ambiguity or limited structure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead projects and establish productive relationships across various levels and functional areas
  • Comfortable operating deep in the details of a data set or financial model, but also able to understand and articulate the macro impact with strong business intuition
  • Experience building a leading teams within a finance organization
