About the Role

You will join The People Team to build and support our growing employee base. This role can based in our HQ San Francisco office or remote. You will join a passionate and lean team dedicated to building a mental health system from the ground up.

We seek a People Operations Manager to help scale our HR systems, policies, and processes to provide a world-class employee experience. This person will ensure that the People Operations function is strategic, innovative, and data-driven, allowing us to make smart people decisions across the organization. You enjoy variety in your work and are excited to support various initiatives for all employees. This role will be a part of the People Team and report to the Senior People Operations Manager.

Where you’ll make an impact:

  • Optimize and maintain all people technology systems and tools for payroll/HRIS, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, automation, and data flow.
  • Own the compensation program's execution, including benchmarking new roles into existing pay ranges and managing the review process.
  • Lead the development and management of thoughtful and scalable HR policies and procedures that balance employee experience with legal requirements.
  • Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process, including identifying benefits and plans to maintain a competitive offering while reflecting its culture and values.
  • Develop and maintain a people analytics dashboard and provide reporting to key stakeholders; ensure HR data integrity.
  • Oversee the end-to-end employee life cycle to ensure a positive and consistent experience (i.e., new hire orientation, benefits administration, leave of absence, immigration, compliance, COBRA, unemployment, etc.).

You'll be successful if you:

  • Have 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with a broad scope of responsibilities.
  • Are excited about navigating a hyper-growth, rapidly changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Have benefit administration knowledge, including managing benefit programs and enrollment.
  • Experienced supporting at least 200+ employees across multiple offices is a plus.
  • Proven track record in implementing and scaling HR processes, operations, and systems; experience implementing an HRIS is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Enjoy the ability to leverage data to help drive informed decision-making.
  • Are equally comfortable and excited by strategic work and tactical work.
  • Demonstrate and ensure the ability to lead with integrity, professionalism, trust, and confidentiality.
