Position Summary:

As a Senior PMO Analyst, you will be supporting the IT Project Delivery team to supervise the status of project milestones, perform risk and issue management, and the coordination of project level reporting.

The Project Delivery Team at Trupanion is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects and future development roadmaps. You will report to VP, Project Delivery; driving project efficiency up, and helping build predictability in project execution. The Senior PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in driving the successful delivery of projects and programs. This role involves overseeing project governance, ensuring compliance with PMO standards, and providing insightful analysis and reporting to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent analytical skills, and experience working within a technology-driven environment.

This position is open to candidates in the Altrincham area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

What you will do:

Project Governance and Compliance:

  • Develop and implement PMO standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure project compliance with established PMO methodologies and frameworks.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of project documentation and deliverables.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Support project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing risks and issues.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and deliver regular project and program status reports to senior management.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a key point of contact between the PMO, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in the allocation and management of project resources, including suggestions for resource planning.
  • Monitor resource utilization and capacity, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance PMO efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project management community.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in project management.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a PMO or project management role, preferably within the technology sector.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is Base Pay Range £55-65,000 (GBP), on a full-time schedule.
  • Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
