We are looking for an exceptional eCommerce expert to lead its online marketing efforts through Trupanion.com. As the Ecommerce Marketing Manager you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic ecommerce marketing initiatives to drive online sales and revenue growth.

Reporting to the Director, Digital & Direct Marketing you will be responsible for leading our ecommerce marketing efforts, optimizing user experiences, and implementing data-driven strategies to maximize conversion rates and customer acquisition. This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

What you will do:

  • Develop and lead ecommerce strategies and initiatives to grow new pet enrollments through Trupanion.com
  • Optimize user experiences and implement optimization strategies to maximize conversion rates and drive customer acquisition
  • Bring to life the Trupanion value proposition across the site to grow visit to enrollment KPIs and create a compelling brand experience
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to grow organic traffic and enrollments
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers to ensure seamless and optimized onsite experience for paid and partner channel leads
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers to drive trial membership activations and conversion
  • Partner with the Ecommerce Product Owner to create a development roadmap aligned to ecommerce goals and work hand-in-hand on prioritized development initiatives
  • Partner with Contact Centre leads to find the perfect balance across web, chat and phone to achieve enrollment and conversion goals
  • Work close with the Ecommerce Analyst to report and analyze ecommerce performance metrics/user feedback, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve the online shopping experience
  • Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, digital technology advancements, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead and develop the Ecommerce team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Experience you have:

  • A strong commercial background with proven track record in delivering online sales results
  • 5+ years of proven experience in creating best in class journeys through consumer facing websites
  • Experience in digital customer acquisition ideally through digital subscription products
  • Expertise in using web analytics, A/B testing, site personalization and user journeys to identify, optimize and measure improvement opportunities
  • Strong understanding of and success in implementing SEO strategies
  • Expertise in making informed, data-driven decisions using web analytics/digital data with proficiency in web analytics tools (GA4, Contentsquare)
  • Strong understanding of web design principles and UX/UI best practices
  • Hands-on experience in managing and utilizing content management systems.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team management experience.
  • Excellent collaborator and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Financial Services or other federally regulated industries is an advantage

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 on a full-time schedule.
  • Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
