Do you thrive on collaboration, experimentation, and bringing new approaches to light? Bonus points if you’re maybe, just a little bit, pet obsessed.

As the Senior Manager of the Social Media team your focus will be on two strategic pillars: Social Media and Content. You will bring a deep understanding of how to use organic social media, both proactive & reactive, to drive brand engagement and to create a social presence that stands out from the crowd. You’ll work closely with leaders from Digital & Direct, Customer, Veterinary, Breeder, and PR/corporate communications to build and maintain a strong voice for Trupanion brand awareness, engagement, and influence. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is a creative storyteller, data-fluent, and highly collaborative and who thrives in a fast-moving, fast-growing environment.

This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

  • Extend our brand visibility, consistency, voice, and leadership across various social media platforms and conversations
  • Collaborate with Paid and other Marketing teams to develop a full 360 view editorial calendar, create content, support our partnerships, and execute day-to-day management of campaigns
  • Actively monitor the competition as well as the ever-changing landscape of social platforms and trends to identify opportunities, gather insights, and forecast what’s next
  • Hire, coach, and develop a team that supports a rapidly growing and changing business

  • 6-8 years of social media management experience with proven results for growing an audience through strong branded storytelling and strategic initiatives
  • Proved experience setting and hitting key social KPIs and demonstrating larger business value of social program
  • 3+ years as a people manager
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with history on hands-on content creation
  • Proficient in using social media posting and monitoring tools; ideally previous experience with Sprinklr
