About REBEL

REBEL is the first and largest tech platform transforming retail’s $1 trillion returns problem into a smarter, more sustainable model. As the only Certified B Corporation returns recommerce marketplace backed by top-tier investors, we’re leading the returns revolution—partnering with over 2,500 top brands to give shoppers unbeatable deals of up to 70% off on open-box products, while keeping millions of pounds of returns out of landfills every year.

REBEL is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale paid acquisition across our core channels. This is a hands-on role with real budget, real autonomy, and a direct line to business impact. You'll work within a fast-moving team that values execution over process and results over optics.

Please note this position requires employees to be in our Bay-Bloor office at least 2 days a week.

This role reports to the SVP of Strategy & Business Operations.

What you'll own:

Paid channels, end to end. Meta, Google (Search, YouTube, PMax), and emerging channels where our customers are (TikTok, Pinterest, CTV). You'll set the strategy, run the campaigns, and optimize continuously — with CAC, ROAS, and LTV as your guiding metrics.

Bidding and automation. Beyond surface-level platform knowledge, you understand how algorithms behave and how to work with them. You'll apply that expertise to drive meaningful efficiency gains and build the tooling and scripts to make those gains repeatable and scalable.

Budget ownership. You'll manage spend with a portfolio mindset — dynamically allocating across campaigns to maximize marginal returns. That includes owning the forecast: spend, volume, CAC, and payback period, and being accountable to it.

Full-funnel optimization. From ad creative through landing page to onboarding, you'll partner with product, creative, and martech to identify friction in the conversion path and systematically address it through structured testing.

Data feed management at scale. You'll own the health and performance of our product data feeds across Google Shopping, Meta Catalog, and other feed-driven channels. With thousands of SKUs in the catalog, you'll know how to structure, segment, and optimize feeds to maximize coverage and relevance.

Scalable systems. You'll build the frameworks, automations, and repeatable processes that increase execution speed and allow the function to scale without proportional headcount growth.

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years in performance marketing or growth, with deep hands-on experience across Meta and Google Ads
  • A demonstrated track record of CAC reduction and LTV improvement, measured at the quarterly level
  • Strong command of platform bidding strategies, audience signals, and campaign architecture
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale product data feeds (thousands of SKUs) across Google Merchant Center, Meta Catalog, or similar — including feed optimization, troubleshooting, and segmentation strategies
  • Experience with programmatic buying and an ability to evaluate incremental channel opportunities
  • Solid unit economics fluency — CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and payback periods
  • Familiarity with automation tools, AI-assisted workflows, or scripting to improve campaign execution
  • Working knowledge of affiliate program management, including partner recruitment, commission structuring, and incrementality measurement
  • A rigorous, data-driven approach to testing and experimentation
  • Strong intuition around merchandising and ecommerce economics — understanding how pricing, inventory freshness, margin structure, product quality, and assortment strategy influence paid media performance.
  • Background in a scaling, venture-backed startup — in a marketplace or DTC environment — is a firm requirement. We move fast, resources are finite, and the ability to execute independently without layers of support is essential. If your experience is primarily from large organizations with dedicated channel specialists, agency teams, or significant operational infrastructure, this role will likely not be the right fit.
  • Comfortable operating as an autonomous contributor while influencing across product, analytics, and creative teams
