Pet Content Creator (Internship/Part Time)

Pacagen (pacagen.com) is disrupting the pet and allergy industries through biotechnology-backed products. Our first products neutralize cat, dog, and dust allergens in the air and on surfaces, making life easier and more comfortable for people struggling with allergies.

We have incredible initial traction and are actively incubating new technologies in the immune and inflammation health spaces. We’re a venture-funded startup that is backed by some of the best venture capital firms in the space and founded by experienced and successful entrepreneurs who have built and sold nine-figure businesses before.

We are seeking proactive and highly motivated individuals to join our team and assist with our paid social advertising efforts. As our Content Creator Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to execute and test new ad concepts on a weekly basis. You’ll assist with the development of our digital presence, our branding efforts, and marketing. The ideal candidate will have an eagerness to test their ideas, a hunger to learn, and proactive problem solving.

About The Role:

As a Content Creator Intern at Pacagen, your job is to make scroll-stopping content that turns heads and drives conversion on paid social ad platforms. You’ll be one of the faces (and voices) of our brand across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms and bring our brand to life in a way only you can.

The ideal candidate is a natural on camera, and not afraid to get out of your comfort zone if it means making high-quality content.

Responsibilities:

• Film, edit, and deliver high-quality UGC-style content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other platforms
• Create authentic, relatable video ads that feel native to each platform rather than overly produced
• Be a face of the Pacagen brand, filming short-form content in alignment with our team and values
• Develop new video ad concepts weekly, staying on top of social trends and adapting them for the brand
• Work with our Growth Marketing team to brainstorm creative approaches to paid social advertising
• Participate in weekly team video calls to discuss creative direction and campaign performance
• Proactively research trends and best practices for social video platforms
• Create, edit, and resize video content for different platform specifications
• Communicate regularly with the team on creative needs and project status

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree program or recent graduate (any field welcome)
• Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms
• Comfortable with being on-camera, with an emphasis on authentic storytelling for social media
• Proficiency in a video editing software of your choice, with demonstrated ability to efficiently produce high-quality content
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• A can-do attitude
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset
• Reliable internet connection for video calls and file uploads
• Smartphone with high-quality camera capabilities
• Must be available to work 15-30 hours per week

Compensation:

• $22 an hour
• Flexible remote work arrangement
• Potential for full-time conversion for exceptional performers

Duration:

• Summer Internship/part time work with opportunity for extension based on performance.
