Role Description
As Head of Analytics, you are the first member of our analytics team and founding member of the team. You will ensure that product teams, business functions, and executives have the data, insights, and recommendations they need to make high-stakes decisions. This is an opportunity to have an outsized impact on Open. This role will pioneer our efforts to turn data into insights and supercharge our team and operations.


  • Leverage deep analytics skills and business acumen to identify, extract, and visualize opportunities to drive cross-functional insights.
  • Develop dashboards, analytical frameworks, and detailed reporting models that provide reliable, easily digestible insights to key stakeholders to help guide decisions around process, policy, systems, and service models
  • Develop a deep understanding of how each area of the business impacts the other, as well as the underlying correlations relating to key company metrics
  • Develop data science strategy to support marketing and business needs
  • Problem-solve with product and business teams, advise executive team how to leverage data science across the company
  • Create automated reporting to ensure operations leaders are informed of variations and opportunities across geographies and teams
  • Regularly communicate associated outcomes and insights to various stakeholders at all levels, including senior management to help guide strategic decisions for improvement


  • You have 4 years of experience in product analytics, creating analysis, including dashboards, models, ad hoc analysis and data-oriented presentations in data science and analytics at a tech company
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, Data Analysis, Excel
  • Passionate about data and analytics
  • Strong ability to translate between business and technical collaborators
  • Extremely fast and motivated to learn autonomously
  • Detail Oriented and Deliberate
  • Constantly prioritizing & adding value to our product
