ROLE DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a dynamic self-starter to support our team. As a founding member of the Digital Studio Ops Crew you'll play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the rental of our studio space, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients. You will be responsible for managing inbound location rental requests, communicating with renters, tracking rental costs and bookings, managing studio inventory, coordinating the cleaning schedule, and maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of the studio. Additionally, you will act as an on-site representative during studio bookings.

What You'll Do

  • Act as an on-site representative during studio bookings:
  • Provide assistance and support to clients during their studio bookings.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Coordinate with the studio manager and staff to ensure a smooth and successful client experience.
  • Help field requests for add-on equipment & studio features
  • Manage inbound location rental requests:
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from potential renters regarding studio availability, rates, and booking process.
  • Collect all necessary information from renters, including dates, times, insurance, and any special requirements.
  • Coordinate with the studio manager to ensure availability and secure bookings.
  • Manage communications with renters:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for renters, providing them with all relevant information and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Communicate rental terms and conditions, including fees, cancellation policies, and any additional services available.
  • Provide clear instructions to renters regarding access to the studio and any equipment or facilities they will have access to.
  • Track rental costs and bookings:
  • Maintain an accurate record of all studio bookings, including dates, times, and rental fees.
  • Prepare invoices and process rental payments, ensuring timely collection and accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to reconcile rental income and expenses.
  • Manage studio inventory:
  • Keep a detailed inventory of all studio equipment, furniture, and amenities.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all items are present and in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with the studio manager to procure and replace any necessary equipment or supplies.
  • Manage cleaning schedule and maintain studio cleanliness:
  • Develop and maintain a cleaning schedule to ensure the studio remains tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and on schedule.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and address any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work weekends
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for occasional transportation of equipment or supplies.
  • Must reside in or near the Venice or Greater West-Los Angeles area for convenient access to the studio and to respond to any urgent matters promptly.
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and adapt within a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
  • Must have a solutions-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for long durations of time
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30lbs
