Sr. Planning Manager
We're looking for a Planning Manager who blends inventory and demand planning expertise with analytical thinking, systems fluency, and operational curiosity. This role goes beyond traditional merchandise planning — it's for someone who solves complex problems through data, technology, and process design, and is excited by how AI and emerging tools can improve forecasting and decision-making.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating cross-functionally, navigating ambiguity, and building scalable planning processes in a fast-growing business. They combine strong commercial judgment with a hands-on, systems-oriented mindset and are motivated by improving how teams plan, align, and execute.
This role partners closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to help drive smarter inventory, forecasting, and operational decision-making across the business.
What you'll do
Planning & Forecasting
- Own demand forecasting and inventory planning across DTC, Amazon, wholesale, and emerging channels that balance growth, inventory health and operational constraints
- Lead monthly SIOP and OTB planning, driving alignment across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
- Translate channel and SKU trends into actionable insights; monitor inventory health, WOS, service levels, and stock risk
- Partner with Product Marketing and Commercial teams to forecast launches, promotions, and assortment changes
Systems & process improvement
- Improve planning methodologies, forecasting processes and operational workflows as the business scales
- Build and evolve scalable planning infrastructure, dashboards, and reporting cadences
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve accuracy using AI-enabled tools and predictive analytics
Cross-functional leadership
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to align production, purchasing, and inventory with demand expectations
- Collaborate with Finance on forecasting assumptions, inventory investments, and scenario planning
- Communicate risks and recommendations clearly to both analytical and non-analytical stakeholders
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in planning, forecasting, analytics, operations, consulting, finance, or strategy
- Experience in consumer, retail, e-commerce, marketplace, or CPG environments strongly preferred
- Omnichannel experience (DTC, Amazon, wholesale) is a plus
- Advanced Excel/Sheets; comfort with large datasets and scalable model-building
- Experience with BI tools, forecasting platforms, or AI-enabled workflows preferred
- Strong communicator; equally comfortable operating strategically and tactically
- Curious, proactive, and excited to improve not just the forecast, but how the business makes decisions
What success looks like
Forecasting becomes more accurate and less manual. Inventory decisions become smarter and more proactive. Leadership gains clearer visibility into risks and opportunities. Cross-functional planning becomes more aligned, agile, and data-driven.
