Job Description

The Sr. Manager, Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and Inventory to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs. This role involves closely monitoring inventory levels, running the MRP process, and adjusting plans to address demand fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.

This role partners closely with Finance, Planning, Operations and is integral in supporting the Brand’s strategic and growth objectives.

This role reports to the VP of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) process ensuring inventory requirements are met in relation to the Demand Plan.

· Continuously update and improve the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) tool to meet the evolving needs and complexities of the business.

· Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling supply forecast and subsequent financial forecast.

· Own the Materials SKU List and Bill of Materials (BOM) master data.

· Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to present total inventory holdings, forecasts and other relevant supply chain KPIs to leadership each month.

· Work closely with Operations to ensure accurate stock quantities each month.

· Partner with the Operations team to coordinate a weekly transportation schedule, optimizing freight planning and efficiency.

· Develop and implement the brand’s safety stock strategy and establish quarterly safety stock assessment reviews.

· Continuously align supply plans with demand forecasts, adjusting procurement and production schedules based on sales trends, seasonal fluctuations, and unexpected changes in demand.

· Manage and develop Supply Chain Manager.

· Provide sourcing and vendor management support.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business.

· 7+ years of Supply Chain experience.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

· Adept at creating advanced Excel models using formulas.

· Previous MRP planning experience.

· Must be a collaborative team member with strong analytical, critical thinking, negotiating and communication. skills

· Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible in an ever-changing environment.
