Role Overview
The Regional Senior Sales Manager- Texas is responsible for driving distribution, velocity, and brand execution across the Texas market. This leader will oversee a portfolio of key accounts, distributor relationships (if applicable), and field execution partners while building the commercial foundation for long-term growth.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building from the ground up, and can think both strategically and tactically. You will be the face of the brand in the Texas market—developing relationships, unlocking opportunities, and ensuring flawless execution every day.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Distribution Leadership

Own the commercial strategy and performance for the Texas region across multiple channels (C-store, grocery, specialty retail, fitness, on-premise as applicable).

Build and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans tied to distribution, velocity, promotions, and retail execution KPIs.

Expand distribution by identifying white-space opportunities, securing new placements, and deepening existing partnerships.

Manage and grow relationships with distributor partners (where applicable), ensuring they have the tools, programming, and support required to win.
Account Management

Oversee regional and key account relationships; present brand story, data, and programming to drive incremental wins.

Negotiate pricing, programming, and promotional plans aligned to company targets and ROI expectations.

Partner with national account teams to ensure alignment on customer strategy and flawless local execution.
Field Execution & Team Leadership

Lead and mentor field execution reps and third-party partners to deliver strong in-store execution.

Conduct frequent market rides to ensure best-in-class merchandising, distribution, and activation.

Coach the team on the “License to Hunt” mindset- owning territory, moving quickly, and delivering exceptional results.
Analytics & Reporting

Monitor and analyze regional sales performance (volume, velocity, TDPs, share-of-shelf, promotional ROI).

Report insights, risks, and opportunities weekly to the commercial leadership team.

Use data to guide decision-making and adjust strategies in real time.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure aligned execution, accurate forecasts, efficient supply, and ROI-positive programming.

Provide real-time market feedback on product performance, pricing, competition, and customer insights.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of sales experience in beverage, CPG, or alcohol industry; energy drink experience preferred.

Strong track record of growing volume, distribution, and retail execution in a startup or high-growth environment.

Experience managing distributors and/or key retail accounts in Texas.

Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.

Highly data-driven with strong understanding of sales KPIs and syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen/Infor, etc.).

Ability to work in the gray and thrive in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment.

Willingness to travel extensively across the state.
