Overview


Development of innovative bicycle components (e-bike) as part of exciting and future-oriented projects in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities


  • Development and design of mechanical and electromechanical components for an e-bike-system using CREO parametrics
  • Development of concepts till detailed designed mass production parts, taking into account functional, cost, weight and installation aspects
  • Interdisciplinary global teamwork with departsments like Quality and System Engineering as well as with our production sides and suppliers
  • Creation of complex 3D models and drawings / product specifications in accordance with common design methods as well as international and national standards
  • Data management with Windchill and Microsoft 365
  • Creation of tolerance chain analyses, strength analyses and simple FEM analyses in CREO Simulate

Qualifications


  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field / or equivalent training
  • 3 years of professional experience in the field of product development / design of electromechanical and mechanical components and systems desirable
  • Sound knowledge of common manufacturing technologies
  • Very good knowledge of one of more CAD programs required, preferably in PTC Creo
  • Ability to quickly familiarzie yourself with new tools and topics
  • Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and good communication skills
  • Doer Mentality and constant drive to improve
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Enthusiasm for cycling
