Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded electronics and software
  • Test Hardware based on requirements (environmental, EMC, performance, safety)
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure the system’s robustness and reliability
  • Optimize Hardware design based on simulation and test results
  • Contribute to the creation, use and adherence to evolving standards
  • Ensure a constant collaboration between stakeholders to facilitate integration of features and services
  • Document design, development, and test procedures for future reference and collaboration

Qualifications


  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in embedded system development for electronics and software, or of professional hardware development for serial products
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, i²C, UART, etc,) and experience with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) is a plus
  • Experience in the field of BMS and buck-boost converter recommended
  • Strong understanding of hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a global team
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and team skills required
  • Experience in mentoring and growing students/ junior engineers is a plus
