POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Operations. This role will involve ideating and executing marketing efforts across our consumer and veterinary channels. This role is ideal for individuals looking to hone their skills as multidisciplinary marketers and have a direct impact on bringing a new therapeutic to the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plan, create, and oversee the content and production of all marketing materials and marketing campaigns
· Support veterinary & clinical teams with up-to-date and aligned marketing materials
· Manage and optimize the website, from site content to SEO strategies
· Plan, implement, and optimize paid marketing campaigns across Paid Social, Google, and other identified channels
· Execute email marketing campaigns across consumer and veterinary channels
· Manage digital brand presence across social media platforms
· Work with external PR team on initiatives to increase brand awareness
· Manage the output of contractors and/or agencies
· Collaborating with customer success teams to ensure customized onboarding plans are executed.
· Report marketing results to senior executives
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, sales, or related field
· 2-4 years of previous experience as a marketing manager, product manager, strategist, sales manager or related marketing experience
· Proficient computer skills, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
· Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
· Expertise with SEO, SEM and/or Paid Social campaigns
· Familiar with necessary Customer Relationship Management and/or Content Management System software
· Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
· Knowledge of the veterinary or pet space is a plus
· Strong copywriting skills is a plus
· Experience preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects
· Strong analytical and financial skills preferred
· Strong planning and execution skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Remote
· On-site at San Diego headquarters 2x/year, daily, etc
· Travel to Trade conferences 4x/year
