The Role
Senior Financial Sales Manager - Client-Facing
As a member of our client-facing sales team, you’ll play a key role in building and managing relationships with prospective clients and driving adoption of our financial planning solution. You’ll help prospective clients understand the value of Domain Money’s offering, guide them through the onboarding process, and ensure a best-in-class client experience.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the face of Domain Money and an expert in our services for our prospects by holding initial zoom meetings to get an understanding of their financial goals and circumstances.
- Meet with leads and clearly communicate our flat fee services, planning tiers, and value of our financial plans by targeting conversations appropriately to their goals, providing a demo of our planning tools, and building trust throughout the process.
- Use email and phone to follow up with your pipeline while maintaining documentation in our CRM for record tracking.
- Take ownership of all aspects of the sales cycle from the initial call to follow up and close while addressing questions, concerns, and objections.
- Work closely with our implementation, advisor, product, and engineering teams to deliver a wide a world class client experience
- Be an active part of a highly collaborative sales team and share best practices
What Sets You Apart
- 5–7 years of B2C sales experience within financial services with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas
- Deep understanding of financial planning concepts and the value financial planning provides to mass affluent clients
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with financial services technology and CRM tools
- Interest in fintech and/or start-up environments (consumer fintech experience is a plus)
