This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, coach the team, maintain operational standards, and ensure the store consistently represents the Dolls Kill brand.

Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, conversion, AOV, UPT, and overall store performance
Lead from the floor by actively engaging customers, styling, selling, and supporting the team
Coach associates in real time to improve selling behaviors and KPI performance
Help create a culture of accountability, urgency, ownership, and recognition
Support daily opening and closing procedures and act as Leader on Duty
Assist with scheduling, zoning, payroll/labor management, and daily business needs
Maintain strong visual merchandising and product presentation standards
Support new product launches, promotions, events, and peak-season initiatives
Ensure operational standards, policies, cash handling, and loss-prevention procedures are followed
Assist with inventory, shipment, replenishment, stockroom organization, and product flow
Identify business opportunities and communicate clear action plans to store leadership
Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop new team members
Deliver a customer experience that feels authentic, confident, inclusive, and unmistakably Dolls Kill
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Previous retail leadership experience; Assistant Manager or comparable leadership experience preferred
Proven ability to drive sales and coach a team toward measurable results
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, including AOV, UPT, conversion, and sales goals
Confident, energetic floor leadership and strong customer-engagement skills
Ability to give clear feedback and hold team members accountable
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
Strong fashion awareness and connection to the Dolls Kill customer and brand
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, events, and peak periods
Reliable, proactive, and able to lead independently when the Store Manager is not present
YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU...
You don’t wait to be told what needs to happen — you see it and take action.
You love developing people, but you’re equally comfortable setting expectations and holding the team accountable. You understand that great retail leadership means knowing the numbers, knowing your customer, and being present on the floor when the business needs you most.
Most importantly, you know how to bring energy to a team and turn that energy into results.
