About the Role:
We are seeking a Content Lead to help create content for our one-of-a-kind community. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in social media and ability to create compelling visual content across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Create exceptional social-first content rooted in our brand storytelling.
Plan, shoot, direct, and edit content that is aligned w/ strategy and engages community.
Translate marketing goals into creative content ideas that drive results. Collaborate with external creators/freelancers to deliver impactful on-brand content.
Proactively contribute to the strategy, ideation, planning, and production of creative content.
Develop new and creative ways to generate buzz through content.
Monitor trends in social media, fashion, lifestyle/pop culture, and appropriately apply that knowledge to create viral content.
Uncover trends, sounds, and viral concepts by searching hashtags, brands, and other influencers through TikTok and other social platforms. Create content briefs for team of ideas for what needs to be delivered .
Work closely with creative team members on a daily basis.
Requirements:
Ability to work full time in Los Angeles (not remote)
Strong TikTik + Instagram portfolio showcasing content.
Deep knowledge of TikTok & Instagram trends and best practices.
A storyteller with a good sense of humor.
Ability to edit on the fly using mobile editing tools2-3 years experience working in social (agency or inhouse).
Experience working in fashion or other creative environments is preferred.
Proactive, independent, and creative mindset to make ideas reality
