Learneo is seeking an HR Consultant to help optimize and provide guidance to our people operations function through at least the end of 2023. The HR Consultant will partner with the People Operations and broader Human Resources teams as it relates to our HR systems, policies/programs, and compliance. We will look for this person to stay ahead of employment regulations with our legal counsel and help evolve and scale our compensation philosophy alongside our VP of HR and CFO. They will also offer support with benefits policies and immigration programs and collaborate across teams to execute impactful people-related initiatives as needed. This part-time contract position requires a commitment of 20 hours a week with availability online between 10 am to 2 pm PT Monday–Friday. The assignment will begin as soon as possible and end in December 2023.

• Support development and management of thoughtful, scalable, HR policies and processes that balance employee experience with legal requirements
• Maintain relationships with legal counsel and support HR team to stay ahead of changes to applicable employment regulations and HR compliance laws, as needed
• Evolve and scale compensation philosophy and structure in partnership with the VP of HR and CFO
• Work with our compensation consultant to ensure we have a fair, competitive and scalable system to support our businesses and employees
• Partner with the team on benefits renewal, ensuring programs are competitive and support employee needs
• Support immigration policies and programs, in partnership with legal counsel and our Recruiting team, as needed
• Support contingent workforce management and related integrations for all business lines
• Provide operational support and partner with G&A functions (HR business partner team, Recruiting, Finance, Legal) to execute on all people-related programs

Here is the experience we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or related equivalent experience; PHR/SPHR/SHRM Certification is a plus
• 10+ years of HR program management and operations experience in a high speed, high growth, technology-based environment
• Experience supporting at least 1000+ employees, across multiple offices globally; management of global contingent workforce is a plus
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures including HR compliance, compensation, benefits, systems, and immigration.
• Proven track record in implementing and scaling HR processes, operations and systems; ADP experience within the last 2 years
• Experience using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Slack, Zoom and Microsoft 360
• Experience with People systems and tools including Greenhouse, Sapling, CultureAmp, Reflektive, VNDLY is a plus
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, compliance and reporting
• Advanced project management skills - ability to handle multiple projects at once with competing priorities. Organized, extremely detail oriented and execution focused a must!
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
• Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside of the People Operations team. Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization while maintaining flexibility
• Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence

In accordance with California, Colorado, New York, and Washington law, the hourly range for this role if filled in any of these states is $175-200 per hour.
