The L&OD (Learning and Organizational Development) Lead is responsible for leading the L&OD function of the organization by designing, developing, and implementing effective learning and development programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees, drive organizational development initiatives, and support the achievement of the company's goals and objectives.

The L&OD Lead takes a broader perspective that includes not only employee development but also the development of the organization as a whole. This includes initiatives that focus on enhancing organizational culture, improving team dynamics, and aligning individual and team goals with those of the organization.

This role will not have direct reports but will work closely with business leaders and members of other teams to understand their needs and develop customized L&OD solutions while providing hands-on leadership.

The Role:

Leadership

  • Providing leadership and support to stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and develop programs that meet those needs.
  • Providing consulting services to help stakeholders improve training and development programs.
  • Ensuring that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to an approved training budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Learning and Development

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs by identifying training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Analyzing and evaluating training programs by evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement. This includes analyzing data and feedback from learners and stakeholders and using that information to continuously improve training programs.
  • Maintaining knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
  • Identifying problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
  • Collaborating with vendors and third-party training providers to implement and evaluate a training program

Organizational Development

  • Conducting organizational assessments by analyzing the organization's current state to identify areas of strength and areas that need improvement.
  • Developing and implementing interventions by designing and implementing strategies and initiatives to improve organizational performance, such as culture change initiatives, leadership development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Facilitating team building by helping to build effective teams through building exercises and activities that improve organization culture, communication, collaboration, and trust.
  • Help in managing changes by developing and implementing change management strategies and helping employees to adapt to new processes, systems, and structures.
  • Measuring and evaluating performance by developing and implementing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of organizational development interventions and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, human resources, education, or a related field
  • At least five (5) solid years of relevant experience in designing and delivering training programs, conducting needs assessments, developing learning strategies, coaching and mentoring employees and leaders, and managing learning and development projects
  • A good track record of successful L&OD initiatives and the ability to demonstrate the impact of these initiatives on organizational performance
  • Experience working with a variety of learning and development tools and technologies
  • Good understanding of adult learning principles, learning theory, and instructional design concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Have worked in a multinational organization or BPO industries
  • Comfortable working with computers - experience with Chrome and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Hangouts) are a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
