Job Description
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fueling the company's growth by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent. You'll own the entire hiring process, partnering closely with Chariot’s leadership team, while designing and executing a strategic approach to recruiting.
You'll lead full cycle recruiting for a diverse range of roles, including highly specialized and leadership positions, ensuring a seamless and exceptional candidate experience along the way. To learn more about Chariot’s hiring philosophy see this page in our handbook.
What You’ll Do As Our First Talent Hire
Lead Talent:
Maniacally focus on building a world class team set on revolutionizing charitable payments
Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and refine our talent strategy
Coordinate interviews ensuring every candidate who interacts with Chariot has a positive experience
Represent the company brand externally, providing a strong first impression as the primary contact for prospective hires
Build the System:
Identify top candidates for hire through calls, resume screening, and cutting through the noise
Build candidate pipeline through research, networking, events, and out of the box outreach
Set up, maintain, and report on recruiting funnel metrics to ensure we hit hiring goals
About You
Organized and detail-oriented - you can juggle multiple roles and complex logistics
Scrappy and self-directed - you take ownership, use data to drive decisions, and don't need hand holding
Sourcing chops - able to go beyond LinkedIn with scrappy, creative tactics
Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly and acts as a strategic partner to founders and candidates
Bonus: Full-cycle recruiting experience in high growth startups with a track record of closing key roles
