We are looking for a Director of Psychiatry passionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care to join our clinical team. This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer.
Role Overview:
As a Director of Psychiatry, you will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and play a crucial role in both patient care and administrative functions. This position offers the opportunity to manage a team of psychiatric providers, oversee quality reviews, and contribute to clinical improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Complete intakes based on information provided by our partners, other Bend practitioners, Bend’s measurement based cared system and meeting with the family
- Review follow up child/adolescent psychiatry cases (asynchronous work)
- Work with kids and teens, as well as their family, by providing treatment and support as they progress towards improving skills and reaching their goals
- Work collaboratively as a team with the patient’s RN, care manager, and mental health wellness coach on the patient’s care plan.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, such as operations and data analytics, to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Have proven results in working with others.
- Be comfortable with analytics, detail oriented and process focused.
- Team oriented, high energy and driven for results
Who You Are:
- Board certified or Board eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Licensed to practice in at least one active state and are open to cross licensing. IMLCC certification preferred.
- Experienced in supervising clinicians with a focus on performance management and clinical outcomes. (can include Chief Resident / Chief Fellow experience)
- Innovative and entrepreneurial, with a strong inclination towards team collaboration.
- Comfortable with virtual tele-psychiatry sessions, both synchronous and asynchronous.
- Detail-oriented, process-focused, and comfortable with analytics.
