Today’s world can be intense and stressful, and it’s taking an unprecedented toll on kids, teens, and families. Bend Health’s collaborative care model relies on therapy to help families manage the ups and downs of everyday life. These challenges could involve managing emotions, challenging negative thinking, and reducing stress and anxiety.

We are looking for a Part-Time, Clinical Quality and Compliance Auditor passionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care to join our clinical team.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you'll be responsible for auditing behavioral health records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures, including familiarity with joint commission and other behavioral health accreditation rules and regulations.

Your primary duties will involve:

  1. Conduct EHR record reviews to enhance payment accuracy and improve program administration and clinical quality, adhering to Bend Health and other accreditation standards.
  2. Thoroughly gather data and statistics regarding EHR discrepancies.
  3. Analyze data to identify discrepancies in documentation and clinical outcomes.
  4. Disseminate information to practitioners, including coaches, therapists, psychiatric providers, and Behavioral Care Managers (BCM), ensuring adherence to internal and external guidelines.
  5. Follow up with practitioners to ensure completion of required documentation and compliance with established standards.
  6. Memorialize policies and procedures determined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), EVP, Head of Care Operations, and quality assurance team.

Who you are:

  1. You are an active registered nurse (RN)
  2. You are proficient with technology and comfortable with a high volume of auditing records.
  3. You maintain a high standard of excellence in your work.
  4. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and familiar with auditing behavioral health records, JCAHO, and other accreditation standards.
  5. You are able to pull data, analyze it for discrepancies, and effectively communicate findings to practitioners while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. You are flexible and able to adapt to the organization's needs while always being focused on maintaining accuracy, compliance, and quality in EHR documentation.

The salary range for United States residents is $30 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Bend Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
