Bend Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Rails & React Engineer (React, Typescript, Ruby on Rails). This is a full-time, 100% remote position.

The ability to write good software is a super power. Do you want to use your super power for good? In other words, do you want to be a superhero? If so, you should consider working for Bend Health. Our mission is to help kids struggling with mental health issues. You won’t find a more superhero worthy adventure.

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Rails & React Engineer that has significant experience with Ruby on Rails, Typescript, and React. You obviously need to be a very solid developer. But beyond that we’re seeking someone that embodies the software values we hold dear:

  1. Mutual respect. Be passionate about your work but always with respect.

  2. Open & honest communication at all levels. Don’t be afraid to say what you think.

  3. Accountability. We all know what is expected of us and we are committed to delivering.

  4. Hard work. Building a startup is hard. Helping kids is hard and our country is in a deficit with evidence-based solutions. But this is worth the effort.

Does that sound like you? Then consider joining us! Bend Health provides tele-mental health services for kids. Our goal isn’t simply to take the existing model of mental health service and put it online. No! Our goal is to significantly improve mental health services nationwide.

Did you know that a child needing to see a pediatric psychiatrist can often wait 9-12 months?

We believe we can do much better than that with our collaborative care model. We’ve already helped thousands of kids and we’re growing. We are a Series A, venture-backed company and we are just getting started.
