What does the job entail?

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to bring extensive experience in merchandising for ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels. Select and curate product assortments for each sales channel in alignment with the strategic plan. You will also lead and develop a team of talented merchandisers to drive growth and performance at Allbirds.

What You'll Do:

  • Product Assortment:
    • Select and curate product assortments for each sales channel in alignment with the strategic plan.
  • Product Flow Planning:
    • Develop and manage product flow plans to ensure timely availability across channels.
  • Promotions and Liquidation Planning:
    • Play an integral role in planning promotional activities and end-of-season liquidation strategies.
  • Financial Goals Achievement:
    • Contribute critically to achieving financial targets through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Consumer Needs:
    • Ensure Allbirds meets consumer needs by delivering the right products at the right time.
  • Performance Analytics:
    • Gather and analyze data to assess performance and track progress.
  • Product Feedback:
    • Provide valuable upstream feedback to the product development team to incorporate learnings from previous seasons into future product lines.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and develop a team of talented merchandisers to drive growth and performance.

  • Extensive experience in merchandising for ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial goals and managing product assortments.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market trends and consumer needs.

What do we offer?

In Office: The pay range for this role is $158,000 - $174,000 and must be performed in our San Francisco, CA corporate office. The schedule is hybrid, with Monday to Wednesday in the office and Thursday & Friday can be worked remotely.

Allbirds routinely evaluates pay rates, and the ranges are subject to change based on market rates and other considerations. We factor in a number of components when determining starting pay, including the job and level you are hired into, location, skillset, experience and peer compensation.
